AWESOME FOURTH OF JULY

5 of 5
This is the second time we've stayed in this cute studio condo. Beautiful view out window to Lake Bellaire. Literally 2 minute walk to the Shanty Creek Resort which has indoor/outdoor pool/spa/hot tub. If it was winter - ski hill is right there. We bring the boat and spend the day at Torch Lake - great fireworks view from the balcony! The condo itself was clean - air purifier was running - bed very comfy- no complaints! Pelicans Nest is a good spot for dinner. Just a hint: All the stores and marinas run out of ice - so buy it where you can find it!

A COZY LITTLE GET-AWAY

4 of 5
my little family stayed a couple nights in this sweet little cottage. it was simple and had unique, charming art on the walls. it was well-equipped for how small it is. the hospitality (a personal welcome) from Beth and Wil made it feel particularly inviting. we would return here again. the ONLY thing that i wish i had known in advance is that there aren't things like dish towels or dish clothes, nor basic kitchen staples like salt and pepper or oil. otherwise, the kitchen was really well-stocked and plenty big.
