BROOKE SONG IS EXCEPTIONAL IN EVERY REGARD.

5 of 5
The setting and property are beautiful with vegetable and flower gardens available to enjoy. The home has all amenities is well maintained and clean and has all conveniences. The listing description was accurate but could not convey the beauty of the property and surrounding area. The owners Ruth and Larry are very accommodating, helpful and welcoming They provided excellent customer service and we were welcomed with exceptional home baked cookies. The property is located near Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, Glen Arbor and Empire. You should also take advantage of swimming in North Bar Lake. We would highly recommend this property to our friends and relatives. Climb the dunes, hike Empire Bluffs and Pyramid Point, eat at Joe Friendly Tavern in Empire and for gourmet offerings at Blu in Glen Arbor. Visit Leland and eat at the Blue Bird for the best White Fish dinner in Michigan. Visit the Cherry Republic in Glen Arbor for great ice cream and chocolate cherry candy, and Gallaghers for fresh baked cherry pie to go.

GREAT STAY AT BETSIE BAY!

4 of 5
Clean,Comfortable and spacious home provided everything we needed for a week long families vacation. Within walking distance of most everything we wanted to do. Beautiful outdoor patio/grilling area complete with a fire container/pit. Two bathrooms made it a real convenient week with several teens in the group. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for all the comforts of home. Lots to do in town and lots of walks at the beach. Make sure to hit Fusion Restaurant and the Stormcloud brewery while you are in town. The owner was very attentive before, during, and after our stay. Thanks again for a great week. I am sure we will try to make it back again.

FAMILY FRIENDLY!

5 of 5
This was a great place for 2 families with a lot of kids. We had 4 adults and 7 children. We really were only there in the morning and evening. It was a nice location to easily visit many areas (Mackinaw City, Mackinac Island, etc., Ste. St. Marie). This was 5 stars for us and here is why: THE WALKOUT BASEMENT - otherwise known as the kid cave. Six children made themselves at home down there. There was a king size bed and queen pull out sofa, love seat, tv and half bath. KITCHEN - Fully stocked with just about every appliance/cooking utensil you could need. We did have to buy a bottle of dish soap as they were out, but everything else was there. There was no food obviously, but there were many staples such as salt, pepper, seasonings, etc. WASHER/DRYER - 7 children, enough said :-) GRILL and FIRE PIT - The patio had a huge table and lovely view. The kids enjoyed evening s'mores. THE OWNERS - Joe was fantastic to work with and very accommodating! They promptly refunded our security deposit when our stay was over. If you decide this rental is for you, here are a few things to know: - This home is the only rental in a quiet neighborhood. If you have a rowdy bunch, this may not be for you. - The home was clean and things in working order, but it is a bit of a time capsule. -There is no air conditioning. This was not a problem for us. We opened the windows and had a nice cool breeze. There were plenty of fans available (we did not need to use these). - If you have very small children be aware that the property goes right up to the river with no barrier or fence. This was not a problem for us. We had a 2 year old with us and just kept a close eye out. It is also not a good place to swim as the current is strong. Overall, this place suited our needs!!
