Lovely beach

4 of 5
Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was clean. The property manager was more than helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home is lovely, but needs curtains. Morning sun is difficult to tolerate in bedrooms, especially for children. Dishes and glasses in cupboard were dirty. We felt it necessary to use plastic wares. It is a shame that the living room is so small. There were ample bedrooms and beds, but not nearly enough room for the same number of people in the small living room. Glad we had only one rainy day.

Beautiful spot!

5 of 5
Beautiful Spot! Woodsy. Feels secluded, but right across the street from a nice, public park on Big Glen Lake! Nice, big deck! Great for families! Very reasonable price.

Your private piece of heaven

4 of 5
I stayed at the cottage last year during the spring, while the house was being renovated. The house had a very quaint rustic feeling that was very therapeutic for a city girl like myself. The wood work was beautiful!! There is plenty of space and privacy and glass windows to observe the plethora of wild life guaranteed to visit you! I spent sunsets kayaking from the backyard to the river not far away. Hiking and running trails were close and endless. The dunes are so much fun and provide great opportunities for panoramic views of lake michigan. I even saw a black bear in the swampy area. There was plenty of migrating and native birds to observe while having my organic morning coffee from the market basket not far away. I miss this place. It is so tranquil and such a vacation from the fast paced city. The owner sent me photos of the upgrades done after I left, and I absolutely love them. Such a cute cottage! I will be back some day and look forward to coming back to this recently upgraded cottage.
