Great Fire Pit!

5 of 5
McKenzie's Lodge was great! Great location - very short walk to the Village, pool, and restaurants. We loved the outdoor fire pit. There were plenty of seats for our group of 10, and it came with lots of firewood. We grilled a lot, and appreciated having both a gas and charcoal grille. Our young kids had so much to do at Crystal - rode bikes, went to the pool, did the Alpine slide, paintball course. Overall a great home at a great resort for a relaxing vacation!

Beautiful Cabin

5 of 5
You know you are away from city life when the owner of the small town grocery store 4 miles east gives my son a free ice cream and carries our bag of groceries to our car. This is a quiet area and a beautiful cabin. We originally had reservations in Traverse City and so glad we changed our plans. This cabin is off the beaten path but still close to all the scenic areas on Lake Michigan. As far as the cabin itself, the pictures really speak for themselves. Someone put a lot of expertise, love and creativity into the cabin and all the custom furniture when it was built. Hat's off to you.

Beautifully maintained and guest friendly

5 of 5
The listing was accurate, and the lodge and property are even more lovely in person. Everything was very clean and well maintained, and the property manager is helpful and available. This was our family's second stay. Plenty to do: fishing, swimming from the beach or deck, boating with canoe, kayak or rowboat, bocci, shuffleboard, and children's play lot, fire pit. Large kitchen makes meal prep a family affair. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Beautiful and serene, yet the kids can make noise and not bother other vacationers.
