Beautiful Golf home property

5 of 5
We rented this beautiful home to do a fall getaway with some friends and enjoy the colors. We own a condo at Shanty but needed more room for other couples. This home is emmensely clean and confortable with an open floor plan. The owners were wonderful to work with and provided all the needs. This is a great place for families, several couples and at any time of the year to enjoy the seasons! Location is convenient for all ammenities and close to other major cities in the north. Would definately use again!

Perfect Family Getaway

5 of 5
My husband and I and our 5 children plus another family of 5 had a wonderful weekend getaway in this unique and comfortable chalet. It was set up perfectly for both of our families. The kids could hang down in the basement and play games and watch tv while the adults gathered in the large living & dining room upstairs. We truly enjoyed the large wood burning fireplace all weekend. We were there just at the end of snow season and most had melted away, but the younger kids still had a blast exploring among the trees in the spacious area surrounding the house. We will be back again next year during ski season, this house was perfectly located for easy access to the hill. The owners were wonderful to work with, very helpful!

Best Ski Vacation House

5 of 5
We just returned from a fabulous ski vacation at Shanty Creek, and one of the best things about our trip was where we stayed. We loved, loved the chalet! It truly felt like our home away from home and not at all like a rental. The chalet is new and well-kept. There are flat screen TVs in every room, and DVD players in all but one. And while the TVs in the bedrooms and den are small, we hardly noticed. There is also a big DVD collection with something for everyone. For a winter vacation, the attached garage was a godsend and having a full laundry room was tremendous. We were a party of 6 adults and 1 teenager, so there were plenty of beds. We could have slept 3 more in beds and then there was the pullout in the den and then many other foldout options. There were also tons of blankets. The chalet stayed nicely heated, and we never ran out of hot water. And one of our favorite things about the chalet was the outdoor fire pit. We had a gathering one night for friends and family, and it was a big hit. The one thing that the chalet doesn’t have is an indoor fireplace, and while it would be a nice addition, we didn’t really miss it. In short, the property was as described above and better. We all loved it! We hope to stay at the chalet again on our next visit!
