Beautiful Weekend at Viewtopia

4 of 5
Rating Details: I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was clean. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful views and property. Overall we loved our stay! A few suggestions: The coffeemaker took at least 30 minutes to brew a pot which was frustrating for 8 adults wanting their morning coffee. Also, I'd recommend more comfortable and more seating in the living room. Considering the house sleeps at least 8 there should be seating for 8 in the living room...maybe a sectional? The couch (which used to be futon) wasn't comfortable at all. Manager responded on 10/16/2014: Thank you for staying at Viewtopia. We will share you concerns with our owner.

Beautifully breathtaking...tranquil setting.

5 of 5
Just can't say enough good things about our stay. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the owner, Sharon. She was so kind and took so much time covering every detail of the home, room to room. We take a family vacation every year with our daughters, their spouses and 8 grandchildren. It has always been such an awesome time to reconnect for all of us since we all lead very busy lives. The house was beautifully decorated and immaculate. It had every possible item that made our stay absolutely perfect. The house was well equipped with so many toys, games etc. that entertained the kids for hours. Sharon was so nice to inform us of the area attractions. We enjoyed shopping in Harbor Springs as well as Petoskey. The beach at Petoskey State Park was gorgeous...water so blue that I felt as if we were at the ocean. We had a day of rafting that was absolutely so enjoyable. One of our highlights of the week was Mackinaw Island which none of us had visited before. We especially enjoyed our campfire back at the house every evening after a long day of exploring. My only complaint was that the week flew by way too quickly. We can't wait to come back and will definitely rent this home for future family vacations. Thank you, Sharon!

Great Wedding Spot

5 of 5
We had our Wedding at the property with our families and a few close freinds. It was the perfect opportunity for everyone to interact and participate, but also to get away. The Wedding was outside overlooking the bay, and the view was outstanding. The property was in great shape. I attended a business meeting there about ten years ago, and it was improved even since then. There is something for everyone to do; kids can play downstairs in the game rooms and exercise center, adults can build a fire, have some fun in the kitchen or just relax. The close proximity of the Casino, and other Traverse City activity was great, and our guests took full advantage. The management of the property was very helpful, and we would love to bring everyone back for an anniversary.
