HEAVEN WITH MY PUPS

5 of 5
Such a blessing to be able to vacation with our dogs. We have an older lab who loves the water, and this was perfect. We took the trail to the dog beach and even took the short drive to Beachwood Park to part and have a shorter walk. Everyone is so friendly, it was idyllic. Cabin is perfect size. The 1 and 1/2 bath are super convenient and the washer/dryer was invaluable with a 4 month old. Yard was great for the pups and it was nice and private while still have a fantastic view! My only suggestion would be a softer mattress in the one bedroom. We ended up sleeping in the twins because it was way too stiff for us. And if possible, and outdoor firepit. Smores would have pushed it over the top! :) All in all, LOVED it. We hope to be back next year.

GREAT, RUSTIC, BEACH COTTAGE! QUIET AND RELAXING

5 of 5
This property is a great, rustic, beach cottage in a quiet and relaxing neighborhood. The beach is just a short walk across the road. The cottage is basic, but has everything you need and would expect for a beach cottage. It was clean and well maintained. The pictures and descriptions are accurate. The owner is nice and was very responsive to our needs. We enjoyed meeting and talking with the manager who lives very close. If it is available when we return to Muskegon we will stay here again.

GREAT LOCATION AND VALUE - OUR FAMILY LOVED IT

5 of 5
My wife, two boys (5 & 9), dog and I really enjoyed our stay at this cottage, and the location is great. So much to do in the area - Michigan Adventure Park, Muskegon attractions, Mac Wood's Dune Rides, - but some of the best moments were just lounging around the cabin and lake. I set a deck chair at the end of the pier most evenings and had good success fishing; catching bass, bluegill and catfish. My son's loved the lake, was happy to find a nice sandy beach with little lake debris. The cabin had everything we needed for a week stay. Bedding and furniture were all comfortable and clean. Kitchen was easy to use. Washer/dryer were modern. Only small problem was cold water handle on shower would come off, but we could still work it fine. No air conditioning, but we survived a hot week with the fans provided and by jumping in the lake! We recommend the Station Grille and Mia & Grace's for eats in Muskegon, and Lee's Chicken is good takeout. Not much in Twin Lake itself, but the small convenience store did carry bait and essentials, and is very close. I'd definitely recommend this cottage to small families, and was great that our dog could stay too - he loved learning to swim!
