We enjoyed staying at Plum Hollow. The home was clean, well-maintained, and the owners had thoughtfully provided what we needed along with extras we weren't expecting. When they noticed we liked birds, they brought over an extra book about birds in the area. It was nice to have them in the area just in case anything came up. The yard is also fantastic with plenty of parking and seating outside and the sunroom was much enjoyed. It's in a nice neighborhood, good for walking and admiring the neighbor's flowers. The Pere Marquette beach was a 5 minute walk, but you can also drive and park there easily. A smaller beach at Kruse park is only a 5 minute drive to the south. It has sand dunes and trails, while both have playgrounds for the kids. While we loved the sunsets, beaches, and deer walking near the house, others staying with us enjoyed the art, museums, and antiquing in downtown Muskegon and neighboring towns. OK, I enjoyed the wireless internet too. One day we visited New Era to the North and went on a fun tour at Country Dairy. If that's not your thing, we passed Michigan Adventure amusement park along the way. To sum it up, this property is a great home base from which to do a wide variety of activities. Thanks, Stan and Annie!
