My wife, two boys (5 & 9), dog and I really enjoyed our stay at this cottage, and the location is great. So much to do in the area - Michigan Adventure Park, Muskegon attractions, Mac Wood's Dune Rides, - but some of the best moments were just lounging around the cabin and lake. I set a deck chair at the end of the pier most evenings and had good success fishing; catching bass, bluegill and catfish. My son's loved the lake, was happy to find a nice sandy beach with little lake debris. The cabin had everything we needed for a week stay. Bedding and furniture were all comfortable and clean. Kitchen was easy to use. Washer/dryer were modern. Only small problem was cold water handle on shower would come off, but we could still work it fine. No air conditioning, but we survived a hot week with the fans provided and by jumping in the lake! We recommend the Station Grille and Mia & Grace's for eats in Muskegon, and Lee's Chicken is good takeout. Not much in Twin Lake itself, but the small convenience store did carry bait and essentials, and is very close. I'd definitely recommend this cottage to small families, and was great that our dog could stay too - he loved learning to swim!
