                      AWESOME GETAWAY! EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS!

                      5 of 5
First off, the pictures do not give this house justice. Is it very clean, well kept, and very spacious! The lake is so beautiful; the kids (age range 3-9) loved playing in the sand and swimming into the evening. During our stay, we visited Taquamenon Falls, Mackinac Island, the Soo Locks, and Petoskey. There's a lot to do in the area, but on days we wanted to relax, we loved just hanging out at the house. Walmart is a short 8 minute drive away, so getting groceries was a breeze. Jeff (Manager) was very helpful and was always available for questions. I highly recommend this property, especially if you will be coming with young children!

                      UNPARALLELED EXPERIENCE

                      5 of 5
I cannot even express how amazing of a trip this house provided. It truly was an unparalleled experience. Right upon driving up through the beautiful driveway to entering the house (which was incredibly clean and had an amazing homey feel to it) we knew this place would be a gem...and it was. The pictures of this place do not do it justice at all. It was incredibly aesthetically pleasing, from the immaculate wood work throughout the house to the bay windows (and windows in general) that let in all the light. On top of that, I cannot stress how CLEAN this place was! Most places up north might have a musty smell, but this place had none of that! It was so well kept and so accessible. Nothing was hidden or covered up, and the entire feel of the house was very open, yet if you wanted privacy, it was only a closed door away. The entire house had heated wooden floors and iPads that controlled almost everything, on top of the surround sound all throughout the house, inside and out. It felt like we were living in a smart house, it was awesome! Everything was really easily to control and use, and there were no problems with getting anything to work. The bathrooms were exquisite and the water was filtered and drinkable while still tasting good! I need a separate paragraph to really emphasize my love for the showers in the house. It pained me every time I had to end my shower because it was a dream in the steam...literally. The amenities were top notch. The kitchen was top-of-the-line, had a ton of room, and was easily one of the most fun rooms in the house because we could blast music and cook up a storm while have the fireplace on behind us. The steam sauna and dry sauna were unbelievably enjoyable, and the hot tub was located perfectly to look out at the beautiful sunsets on Mullett Lake. The work out room had all new equipment and worked great! The basement in itself was a dream come true. All the pinball machines and the shuffle board like game, on top of the sweetest pool table surrounded by an authentic bar and great art pieces really gave the basement a cozy, relaxing, and fun feel. We had a blast down there. Oh, and I forgot to mention the theater room which connects to the TV stations and plays DVDs so we could watch sports games on the big screen then switch right over to movie night. So yeah, that was pretty darn cool. All in all, this place was worth every cent. Secluded enough for privacy, but close enough to town in case of emergency.

                      GREAT FAMILY GETAWAY

                      5 of 5
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, new lake home. We vacation each year with two other families and my 83 year old mom. There were a total of twelve of us ages 6 to 83. We had a wonderful time and found the home to be spacious enough to be comfortable even when we were forced inside due to unusually cold August weather. The unique layout of the house is ideal with the bedroom sizes and bed configurations perfect. The kitchen and dining area work great for large groups. The TV room on the second floor was the perfect place for the children to set up their Legos, games and toys. The boat moorings were fine and the guys found a huge mess of jumbo perch on our last full day. They couldn't have been happier! I did share one suggestion with the property manager: The current lighting comes entirely from canisters in the cathedral ceiling and we missed having a hanging light over the dining table for evening games and lamps in the bedrooms and living area for those of us who like to read at night while others are sleeping. The beach is very nice and you can walk out into the gradually deepening lake on firm sandy bottom until you reach your own comfort level - no drop-off ever. No worries with the children in the water! We brought our own firewood and took full advantage of the fire pit and beautiful sunsets each night. The only suggestion we had was that there be fire-side lawn chairs. I especially appreciated hearing from the property manager after we arrived and during our stay to verify that everything was fine and running smoothly. And, of course, it was. Thanks for sharing your beautiful new lake home with us.
