SPECTACULAR GETAWAY!

5 of 5
What a beautiful farmhouse! It has the look and feel of a rustic experience with every modern comfort available. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and other tools for cooking throughout the day and the modern appliances make cooking and cleanup easy! The dining area is what a family dining experience should be and the grounds....the yard and gardens are just wonderful. Very close to town and to Lake Michigan, we look forward to coming back with our bicycles to enjoy all of the roads and trails available to us. Wonderful wonderful wonderful!

GREAT LOCATION AND AN AMAZING LK MI HOME!

5 of 5
We had a great time at the Pier House! The house was AMAZING!!! There was not a detail overlooked by the property owners. They have thought of everything. Everything was there for our enjoyment. High quality linens, super soft blankets and towels, a fully stocked kitchen with quality items, beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys, kayaks, and even top of the line life jackets. Great fire pit and deck with outdoor grill for being together. Awesome sun room with huge table for everyone to eat together. We felt right at home the minute we walked in. The views of Lake Michigan were beautiful and the beach was amazing! The house is set up just beautifully with the togetherness of family in mind. This is a great place to make memories with your family for years to come! We feel blessed to have been able to share this home for the week we had it. Much thanks to Stan and his lovely wife Linda. We will definitely come back year after year. Cannot say enough....just awesome!!!

A SLICE OF HEAVEN!

5 of 5
The night we arrived, our family walked in to what would be our own gorgeous, spacious and oh-so-comfortable getaway home for the next few days, and instantly agreed we needed to return next year. On the final day, we left feeling the time was too short, and sad to go. Our family included 2 adult children, their spouses and children, one 18-year old, a cousin and a friend. We rarely needed to leave the property (except for those who took our boat out to go fishing), because there was an abundance of things to do to fill our days as we all reconnected and left our busy lives on the road. The gazebo offered a special place for snoozing to the sound of the lake against beach, the children had ample room to play inside and out, the teens claimed the lower level "man cave", my husband sampled almost every comfortable chair (there were too many for him to try in our "limited time") when he wasn't fishing. And did I mention how magical it was to reminisce in front of the stone fire pit, while sipping wine and indulging on smores? On several nights, the full moon cast a mirror image on the lake, which I could see from our bedroom. And very early on the last day, while the house slept, my husband and I spotted a lone deer gently grazing in view. What a perfect ending! Our hosts, Stan and Linda, couldn't have been more gracious and helpful for anything we needed, which wasn't much, because they thought of everything and the house was better stocked with creature comforts and gadgets than we could have imagined! And many thanks to their sidekick, Gus (a black lab), who was happy to give hugs. See you next year! Tina & Jeff
