Beautiful Cabin and Property

5 of 5
I could not have asked for more. The property and house are both breathtaking! The beach is sandy, the water is pristine, and you can catch gorgeous sunrises AND sunsets! The boardwalk over the sand dunes is so fun to walk across! The house is spotless with tons of space; gorgeous furnishings; wooden walls, floors, and ceilings. The area is extremely quiet and private. I did not hear noise from or encounter any other human beings the entire weekend. I will most definitely be renting this spot again for future occasions.

Epic Adventure Week 2

5 of 5
Wow. Camp Flapjack was fantastic. Walking the bedrock in the sun. Wet shoe wading in Lake Michigan in the shallows towards the light house at the edges of the bedrock. The views. Relaxing in the spotless very nice very comfortable gorgeous cabin with everything needed for any situation. Enjoying the ships, night sky, day sky, moon, sun and nature; deer, sand cranes, flowers, fossils, ancient bed rock, fresh air, lake breeze, Lake Michigan and of course the ever present chipmunks. Hiking the local area mindful of private property. Dan was fantastic. We enjoyed our large camp fires immensely. We did not even dent the wood supply and we tried. The house is just really nice and feels like home sweet home with a panoramic view thanks to all the windows. Nice and private. Local light house, museum and nature area is really simple cool and only a short walk away, great for stepping out and doing a little walk daily. The shell piles on the bedrock are awesome. We used Camp Flapjack as base camp for touring the area. But it was so nice we hung out at Camp Flapjack a lot. Made Flapjacks on the awesome deck too!! BBQ'd daily on the deck with cocktails. Oh yes. We would go back. Thanks Dan!

Great space, everything you need

4 of 5
Really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere! The place is much bigger than we imagined, even from the pictures. Mattresses are not very comfortable and could use some updated blankets. The kitchen had everything we needed. Neighbors were friendly. Beach was not great, but met our needs with a toddler who didn't really want to swim anyway. The cabin could have used a vacuuming since there was dog/cat hair covering the carpet, but that is the only real complaint. It was a great place and a really good price for the amount of space!
