Wonderful house with everything needed!

5 of 5
Very well kept house directly across from Stearns Park. Perfect view of the car ferry taking off across the lake. The house has a fully functioning kitchen, three bedrooms with comfy beds, and a nice living room. We were pleased with all the extras, like flashlights in each bedroom plenty of towels, handsoap, dishwashing soap, etc. There were even little bottles of haircare supplies. Will stay again...hopefully longer than two nights.

Color Tour

5 of 5
We came up from Holland, MI with another couple to do a weekend of color touring. We had a great time with this beautiful lake cottage as our base of touring. We only wish we had brought along another couple or two - - there is plenty of room and very comfortable arrangements. Maybe next year. This particular cottage is on a bit of a "bump" (vs. peninsula) out into Hamlin Lake, and the cottage is very close to the water's edge - - so your view from the living room is about 220 degrees of beautiful lake with the exposed dunes across the lake. The place is very well maintained, very clean, and very comfortable. We highly recommend it!

393346 Ludington

4 of 5
We had a delightful time at your cottage - it was extremely clean, nicely appointed and was stocked with everything imaginable to make our stay carefree and relaxing! We were especially happy that the property was pet friendly, the hill from the cottage to the lake was well traveled -- not only by the dogs, but the grandchildren also. We ate out on the beautiful deck every meal (except for one rain day), and admired the patio set, lake and surroundings constantly. Most days were spent jumping off the dock, and the diving platform and of course the paddle boat. Also appreciated was the modern bathroom & tub as well as the bedding -- it was so comfortable with the firm mattresses & soft linens. Another favorite spot was the front sun room that led to the deck. A small drawback was the distance to Ludington, so we frequented the little store that was 3 miles away. The grounds were neatly maintained and we enjoyed the perrennials scattered about. All in all, a good and relaxing time was had by all. From: Island Lake, Novi MI
