      The perfect getaway!

      5 of 5
Perfect location, right across the street from the City park and Lake Michigan. Picnic and cookout in this beautiful park. We fished on Lake Hamlin which is just about a 10 minute drive, large gorgeous lake. You can walk to the Marina where we dined one evening and watched the Badger come into port.Home was very clean, new kitchen and appliances as well as new bedding. Sit on the living room couch and enjoy a morning cup of coffee with a picturesque view of Lake Michigan! Would definitely rent again.

      Great Home

      4 of 5
We chose this home for our annual couples weekend because of it's character, size, reasonable pricing and proximity to the beach and downtown Ludington. Since we have five couples in our group, it can be hard to find a rental space that can accommodate all of us without having the appearance of a bunkhouse. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, and we had plenty of towels & linens. The kitchen is a bit small if you plan on cooking as a group but we just took turns and it was fine. This is a lovely old home with great charm within walking distance to the beach, lighthouse, harbor, fishing spots and many restaurants and shops. The only time we used our car was to take a trip to the state park. Special favorite spots were The Mitten Bar, Jamesport Brewing, Northside Meat Market & Deli and many many stops at the House of Flavors ice cream shop. We also were able to see the SS Badger Carferry come and go. We had a wonderful time and Muriel was a gracious host. We hope to come back to this area sometime in the future.
