Wonderful place to stay!!!

5 of 5
We have stayed in VRBO homes in TN, MO, MI and Canada. By far, this was the cleanest home! The owners went above and beyond to make sure that the home was equipped with the standard amenities, and more. We opened a large closet and it was filled with games and puzzles. Since it is right on Hamlin Lake, the view was amazing! It is a relaxing, quiet home that is perfect for family gatherings. We are very happy with our stay!

3rd straight year!

4 of 5
My family and I have stayed for a week for the past 2years and loved the experience. We're getting ready for year number 3. Not a lot of amenities, but for the price it far exceeded our expectations. The "Hideout" room is a big hit with my kids and a fort/bedroom and we had my wife's friend and her 3 boys stay with us for a couple of days last year as well. All were comfortable and the kitchen easily provided ample breakfast and dinner prep space. The best feature is obviously the location...right by one of the best city beaches in the midwest and minutes from the State Park (one of the best places on earth) Downtown is blocks away, especially the House of Flavors ice cream store which became a nightly habit quickly. Not luxurious, but very functional. If you want beach-front and luxury than you should be prepared to drop at least another 1,000 dollars. For the price, one of the best values for a vacation I've ever had. The fact that we are looking forward to our 3rd straight year says it all!
