Very clean and cozy! The backyard was wonderful!

        4 of 5
The house very clean and well maintained. The owners knew we were celebrating our 20th anniversary and left us a bottle of wine, which was really nice. We loved sitting on the back porch, enjoyed the fire pit and loved fishing off the dock. However we were disappointed with the lack of fish in the lake. (Which is not the fault of the owners.) There was four of us fishing and in four days we only caught 7 fish (6 was off the dock). We tried everything and couldn't find any fish anywhere in the lake. We enjoyed our rides on the pontoon. The neighborhood was very quiet. The owners were very quick answering our questions and concerns and easy to get a hold of! I would recommend this property to others. The backyard is fenced in all the way around and big. Which would be nice for families with small kids. They also left us menus for restaurants and a map of the area (which was helpful).

        The place to be!

        5 of 5
Me and a couple of my friends recently stayed here not too long ago and we had an absolutely amazing stay. The owners were so nice and welcoming they even brought us fire wood and lighter fluid for the pit outside. They were so professional and accommodating even though we accidently were late to our check in. Honestly some of the nicest people I have ever met. I would recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a nice relaxing house on a beautiful lake. The pictures shown here definitely nice but when we arrived at the house we were definitely breath taken and how beautiful the place really was. The owners provided nearly almost everything you would possibly need and had countless utensils for use. We are more than thrilled about trying to come back next year.

        Great Place for relaxing vacation

My husband and two teenage girls had a wonderful relaxing week staying here. The porch affords lovely views, the paddle boat and kayaks were easily accessible, and the cottage is well stocked for cooking. I especially liked the birds in the area - two swans swam by every morning, we saw great blue herons and sand hill cranes too. My daughter is a runner, and she was able to run in a 7 mile loop on the roads around the lake. We also caught a lot of olympic coverage as there is a tv with satellite. We enjoyed going to Kalamazoo for a visit to Kalamazoo College and a trip to one of our favorite breweries - Bells. The food at Bells was surprisingly good. We also went to Oval beach on Lake Michigan one day. It is a great beach. All in all -- a relaxing stay.
