We had a fantastic time at the Harrison Lake House. The home is clean, the layout is convenient, and everything was well stocked. The kitchen and living room are on the lower level, so it's easy to watch after your children if you are in the house. Our four children had a blast fishing off the dock and playing in the water and sand. The owner is very easy to work with and was prompt in getting out contracts and returning the security deposit. I would definitely stay here again! Be sure to rent a stand-up paddle board from Michigan Paddle Boards - their information is on the cork board in the laundry room. The owners were awesome! The hotel across the lake (Lakeside Inn??) also rents row boats and canoes. The boats were poorly maintained and they were not at all friendly. Definitely avoid them. Everything else was just great!

We keep coming back for more! Always more than satisfied. Haven House is well maintained and equipped. Good for fishing or just relaxing. Kevin is awesome to deal with, answers all your questions, and keeps current info on site for things like restaurants, groceries, etc. The listing is accurate except that it understates the charm of this place.

My family of four just got back from a beautiful week on Budd Lake! The cottage was quaint and beautiful decorated. Everything was new, clean and refreshing. The kitchen had everything I needed. Our family spent the days on lake and the evenings playing games. I would wake up early and have a cup of tea on the large deck while watching the birds. The evenings were spent seeing the sunsets and listening to the loon calls. My husband would read the paper on the rocking chair in the screened in porch. With only 2.5 hrs. away this is what our family needed. We all felt comfortable and relaxed in this quiet heavenly haven. Our host Pam was accommodating too!
