Charming Home in a Beautiful Setting

4 of 5
We booked this home to celebrate our 50th anniversary with family. The open floor plan of the home gave us plenty of room to be together to enjoy meals, games, movies.etc The yard is amazing with lots of birds visiting the feeders, a babbling koi pond, and an awesome fire pit. Access to a private beach on Lake Mi was the biggest draw for the kids and grandkids, though they all found the walk pretty tough. The owner is wonderful to work with and everything you could think of was provided including fire wood, beach toys, bug spray, every kind of kitchen need, games, movies, etc. The yard features a play set for the little ones, a trampoline, and hammock, while the basement featured air hockey, mini pool table, etc. We enjoyed picking blueberries and visiting the many quaint shops nearby.. This was a wonderful place and so happy we chose it.

The cottage is very welcoming & comfortable.

What a delightful place to stay in the beautiful woods of Michigan! The cottage was very clean and the kitchen was well-equipped. We had plenty of comfortable bed space and really had a fantastic girlfriend reunion weekend. The beach down the road is spectacular too. Thanks for everything!

Happy family vacation

5 of 5
The house was perfect for our family trip! We had so much fun. The BBQ grill worked great we grilled chicken. The stove and fridge looked brand new. The outdoor patio balcony was so peaceful and surrounded by woods and you could hear the Creek not too far. There were three bedrooms but the third had 2 beds in it. The campfire area was great. Everything about the home was just a great feel and nice cottage cabin up north feel. I don't see how other reviewers had problems. When the owner contacted us he was friendly and helpful. We were only like less than 5 minutes from the Warren dunes state park which also had a dog friendly beach. It was beautiful and worth staying there for us...we would definitely go back!
