Magnificent!

5 of 5
Pull up to the property and you are in awe. Well maintained, beautiful scenery, with various types of birds. Upon arrival we were greeted by purple butterflies, the listing is as described the layout, many extra of the amenities were on had. This cabin is nicely nestled off road with a beautiful lake view. Once you are familiar with the area nothing seemed to be far in distance. The owners are friendly, thoughtful very accommodating. Shar/Laurie absolutely "The Best", we requested a catered dinner, the dinner and the hospitality was magnificent. We will surely be returning at least once a year. Activities to enjoy are canoeing, kayaking, and a visit to Coopersville was all memorable.

Great Family Vacation

5 of 5
Even though it was the middle of Winter, it was a great time to be up north in the lodge. Big place where a big group will feel comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked, every dish you will need to cook. Loved the rustic, comfortable feel to the lodge. Very clean, the fireplace was great. Even enjoyed some older movies and the pool table was nice. Took a while for the place to warm up, so arrive early and get it cranking before bedtime and bring your slippers if you are going in the Winter. Great time with the family.

A Great Getaway Spot

5 of 5
Our group of 6 mature adult x-c skiers could not have been more pleased with our stay in this delightful cabin. Everything was as described on VRBO and the owner provided a helpful info sheet as well as printed rules. The kitchen was well-equipped, there were lots of towels in the bathrooms and extra blankets and pillows. The cabin was very clean and furniture/beds were comfortable and in very good condition. The location, only 4 miles north of "downtown" Grayling and in the midst of 4 x-c ski areas was perfect, both for skiing and dining. A large supermarket in Grayling had the supplies we needed to cook breakfast in the cabin and for trail lunches. The owner was especially helpful in email and phone contacts when I had questions before making the rental. I definitely would recommend this property; we are talking about returning either for skiing or other activities, since the AuSable is so close.
