LOVE THIS HOME!

5 of 5
This is such a great place! It has so much charm and character, and you can really see the love and care that went into every detail. We had everything we needed and then some! I have stayed in other vacation rentals that were not nearly this nice or well cared for, but charged much higher rates. The town of Frankfort is adorable - clean, beautiful beach, great shops & local dining, and really nice bars with local brews & wines and live entertainment. And the area itself is full! of gorgeous lakes and parks with hiking & biking trails, etc. Lots to do for nature lovers. I was especially excited about all of the wineries & vineyards in the area. Overall wonderful experience and will definitely come back again and plan a longer stay.

Kids' Favorite Annual Vacation... AMAZING!!!

5 of 5
The cottage is located in the perfect spot...right on Lake Michigan and also in town. You can walk everywhere you go. I have five children and they look forward to our Frankfort week each and every year. The cottage is kept clean and has plenty of space for all of us; ice cream at a local place each night, and a pizza night is our usual tradition. Otherwise, we eat all meals in the cottage and have enough room to cook, eat, and enjoy. There are also so many things to do around that area if you do choose to leave the beach for the day, such as Sleepy Bear Dunes, tubing down a nearby river, and driving to Point Betsy to see an amazing old lighthouse. I truly cannot express the joy that our whole family gets from a week at Coast Guard Pointe Cottage!!!
