Clean, modern, overall great place to stay

5 of 5
My SO and I wanted to go up north for a weekend for our anniversary and this little place was just what we were looking for! It was larger and cleaner and nicer than a hotel room near the lake for the same price or cheaper. We loved that it was out of the way and get still only a 20 min drive from lake Michigan. There were a couple small stores a few minutes away to grab groceries and cook for ourselvesin the loft which we really enjoyed. And when it was rainy one day we didn't have a problem staying in and watching TV and movies without feeling claustrophobic. We would definitely go here again.

Beautiful Cabin

5 of 5
You know you are away from city life when the owner of the small town grocery store 4 miles east gives my son a free ice cream and carries our bag of groceries to our car. This is a quiet area and a beautiful cabin. We originally had reservations in Traverse City and so glad we changed our plans. This cabin is off the beaten path but still close to all the scenic areas on Lake Michigan. As far as the cabin itself, the pictures really speak for themselves. Someone put a lot of expertise, love and creativity into the cabin and all the custom furniture when it was built. Hat's off to you.

Cozy farmhouse rental

5 of 5
This was an a-1 property. A farmhouse on the edge of a small town in michigan, close enough to Frankfort and the dune area to make it delightful. The home came with a large yard and many amenities. Very pet friendly. They even had a dog run for our dog! Kitchen fully stocked with needed implements. Air conditioning, beds, Internet, and more. Very clean and comfy for my family of four. The bed was better than my own! Very quiet and peaceful for a summertime vacation. I had never been in this part of Michigan and had a lovely time. I will surely return here! The area was quite rural, the way I like it. Close to the store, gas, atm, etc. Please don't miss the pie lady just up MI 115. Sign on the north side of the road. I thought I had stepped into Mayberry because she was as sweet as Aunt Bea! I can't say enough. Thank you so very much!
