Cute cabin on a lovely river

5 of 5
We spent a lovely week at Woolly Bugger Lodge with our adult children and standard poodle. We canoed and kayaked, visited Sleeping Bear Dunes, Traverse City and Crystal Mountain (right around the corner), antiqued, played games indoors and out and enjoyed the plentiful firewood and fire pit. The cabin is on a small rise on the bank of the Betsie River with a path and steps down to a dock. The cabin has a couple of kayaks to use and one of the paddles was missing. A phone call to the owners resulted in a new paddle overnight shipped so we had it available for the remainder of our trip. Thanks, Renee. The upstairs sleeping was warm (no a/c), but with skylights, windows and fans it was okay. There are no close grocers, but there is a gas station/C-store about a mile away. We loved the T.V. room/porch and book and game library. My husband read three of their books in the week we were there. There is a gigantic charcoal grill that we used one evening. One morning we awoke to 47 degrees (in August), so we kicked up the furnace which kept us comfortable as well.

Fantastic again. Love this place.

This is our second stay at Nasha Hata, love this place. Close to Crystal Mte. for skiing, awhsome view of river. Rustic modern interior with all the comforts of home. Relaxing for the whole family. We'll be back for sure.

Wonderful property!

5 of 5
Our family spent four nights at the cottage and couldn't have been happier. It is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need and the location is great--walking distance to everything at crystal but far enough way to get a little peace and quiet. We traveled with four adults, two kids aged 3 and 4 and two toddlers under 2 and had plenty of space. The yard is great, the screened in porch is fantastic and we can't wait to return. Thank you, Pat & Barb!!
