My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this Cross Village Cottage. The cottage has been fully remodeled and is conveniently located to explore everything from Charlevoix to Mackinaw City. Lake Michigan is a shore walk across the road. The Port of Cross Village offered beautiful sunsets. It is also a short hike to Leggs Inn. And, don't miss the Good Hart General Store--they offer everything from U.S. Postal Stamps to property (it really is the Post Office and a real estate office) with good conversation and food. Wilderness State Park, the lighthouse, and the International Dark Sky Park are must see sites. But once you arrive at the cottage you will not want to leave---it is as advertised: comfortable, well appointed, room for the whole family and more. With plenty of gathering space to enjoy. Can't wait to return for a weekend this Fall to enjoy the color. Great job Mike we hope to return often.

Absolutely loved this place!! Want to say thank-you to grace and family for sharing their wonderful beach house w us!! We had so much fun watching the many humming birds go crazy! Buzzed our heads a few times! Saw our beautiful eagles again! Such regal birds!! Loved sitting on deck w our wine and atching sun set. Boys enjoyed the two kayaks as well! Peaceful and quiet place....thanks again for sharing! We will be back!!! Bob and Cindy K.

Picture Perfect

Cute, clean and everything we needed except for food and clothes. The owner called to check on us to see if we needed anything. We enjoyed kayaking, and rock collecting. The beach here is very rocky, but much cleaner than the sandy area a short walk away. The teens enjoyed finding games to play that weren't video games! The adults, teens and dogs all had a great time. Beautiful sunsets! Only 30 minutes from Machinac. We were hoping to try the Legg's Inn in Cross Village, but it was a 2 hour wait. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again if it weren't for 4 teens and one shower.
