Wonderful PRIVATE Lake Michigan Cottage

5 of 5
We had such a wonderful vacation in Rachel and Chad’s beautiful home. This classic a-frame is very well kept. It’s very clean and extremely well appointed. I really appreciated all of the little touches that were provided…new soap for the shower, garbage bags, etc. It was so nice not to worry about a few things. Lots of games and toys for kids….great book and dvd library for them too. The views are amazing. We watched the sunset every night and enjoyed a fire on many. The beach is extremely private. I think we saw 2 other families the entire time we were there. Just a note, there are a lot of stairs that are a little tricky for the smaller children; so if you’re planning on using the beach, be sure that everyone can manage. This was a great vacation!

Relaxing, beautiful, friendly get away!

5 of 5
This is the third year that I - and my pups - have visited Jim's rustic cabin. The setting is secluded and quiet - perfet for a relaxing get away from work, TV, telephones and computers! Great places to hike, read from the extensive book collection, Bar-B-Q, enjoy a bonfire - or just lay on the beach - which is incredibly beautiful - and on most days - almost deserted! Because I can take my goldens along, they get a vacation too! Within 10 minutes I can buy meat from a local smokehouse, fresh fruits and veggies from a great market (which also has a wonderful petting zoo) and fresh ice cream and dairy. This is a great spot to consider when you want to get away, eat great - and relax!
