RELAXING GET AWAY

5 of 5
We totally enjoyed our week at the cottage. It was clean and comfortable. The floor plan was great---plenty of room to spread out. The property was sunny and private. There is a lovely deck to watch the action on the lake. It seemed to be a quiet end of Long Lake---mostly pontoons. I think the jet skis must stay on the larger part of the lake. We made use of the grill and the fire pit. Nice sandy bottom lake. It was about 15-20 min to Cheboygan---shopping, dining and a movie theater. Used the library for internet access, but could sometimes get 3G at the cottage. Took maybe another 15-20 min to get to Mackinaw City. We were looking for a comfortable, homey place to relax and get away from it all. Would stay again and recommend to others. 5 stars for sure!!

WEEK STAY OVER THE HOLIDAYS

5 of 5
This was a great place to stay and enjoy the winter activies of northern Michigan. If you love the feel of a real log home and breath taking views arcoss a snow covered lake, this is the place. There is plenty of space with large rooms and bath rooms. It is easy to get to right off M-33. Town it not too far off and the snowmobile trail is a mile up the road. The Ski resorts and Macinaw is not too far away also. There is also pleanty of room to park your snowmobile trailer and get in and out. One of the nicest places we have stayed in Michigan.

NORTHWOODS SECLUSION

5 of 5
This property is awesome! The pictures really don't do justice to the interior or the view. From the taxidermy to the pictures on the walls, it's practically like a museum of natural history- fantastic. Beautiful log furniture, gas fireplace, full length covered porches front and back- the works. The lakefront is great, especially if you have any "rock hounds" along. Lots of fossils if you have the patience to look. The kids really enjoyed the game room, and also watching the freighters pass by. We'll be back.
