Great Time Was Had By All

5 of 5
My family consists of 8 adults and 8 children age 15 years to 18 months old. The house is big enough for all with beds not even used. House and kitchen had everything we needed. Pontoon boat and rubber kayaks are a must. Ted, Brenda, and Don were wonderful to deal with, and a lot of help. Park Shore Golf Course is very close and OK. Fishing Stone Lake is good for the kids. Plenty of small Blue Gill. Lots of other lakes close by for better fishing. Patio area is great. Big deck with 2 ceiling fans, plenty of seating, and 2 grills, 1 gas and 1 charcoal. Everyone had a great time!

Outstanding Stay

5 of 5
We had a great stay at Diamond Lake. The place was terrific--a rustic place complete with all the necessities: grill, large kitchen, great yard for games, and an outdoor fireplace. It's about a block walk from the lake and marina--we rented a boat from the marina for the week and spent our days swimming and evenings eating dinner on the pontoon. A couple of notes about the place: it's much bigger than even the pictures indicate. We had more than enough space for 3 couples and a 1-year old child. The front porch was great to just relax and read, and because it was enclosed, you didn't have to worry about bugs. The rear deck was also terrific. Overall, we loved the space. It was quite a "classic" place--it had all the qualities of a rustic place while having been incredibly well maintained and in great shape. We're hoping to return next year!
