                      FAMILY ESCAPE

                      4 of 5
The Cabin was very clean and well supplied for our needs. A lot of simple necessities were supplied that normally are not at other places (paper towels, napkins, paper plates, coffee, shampoos, etc...) The kitchen was well stocked and we were VERY pleased with the bedrooms and bathrooms (4!!!!). We enjoyed sledding right outside the cabin and the pools and hot tubs were a big hit with all. Everyone was very sad when it came time to leave. All nine of us want to come back again. We are definitely recommending this place to others. ( We would have given 5 stars if there had been wifi, our only regret. Everything was exactly as advertised ) Nelson Family

GREAT LITTLE PLACE, WISH TO VISIT AGAIN SOON.

                      5 of 5
We had a couple's getaway at this cute little cabin. I wanted to mention a few things that weren't on the previous reviews or the descriptions. There is a stove, but no oven. However, they do have a toaster oven. We did not know this, but it didn't impact us too much. There is also a grill to use and a fire pit, so plenty of ways to cook food. Also, the neighbors are quite close. This wasn't a problem for us at all, but it is worth noting. The owners were very helpful. The glass roof and glass wall that faces the lake was beyond beautiful. The listing says 2 doubles, but the second room is a bunkbed (the bottom bunk is a double in size, but the top bunk is quite low making it somewhat tricky for an adult or two to sleep under there). Overall, we had some surprising when arriving there, but many were good surprises! I would recommend the cabin and I would love to go back.

                      LOON LODGE

                      5 of 5
Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed this property. The cabin was nicely decorated and very comfortable. The lake was beautiful and the weather was perfect. It was nice to have the rowboat for fishing. Bellaire was close by and a nice little town. Good restaurants and shops. Traverse City was not far away and easy to get to. Charlevoix was also close by and was not someplace we had been to before. The Apple Fest was very nice and the Friske Orchard and Farm Market should not be missed. There were a couple of small maintenance issue with the cabin, four burnt out lights with no replacement bulbs available, smoke detector battery was low with no replacement battery available ( so had to listen to the beeping last night there) and the dining room light fixture stopped working. Could not find the breaker box to see if that was the issue. Overall a great stay, would recommend to others.
