This is a wonderful little getaway

5 of 5
This is a great little place to spend some time. The place is super clean which is a big thing for us. The bed linens were clean and fresh smelling. All the essentials in the bath and kitchen were provided. There is a lot of space in the bedroom to unpack all your bags. It is situated on the end of the street next to the woods so it is rather private. Outdoors there are plenty of chairs and even a gas grill to use. All in all, it was a wonderful place to spend several days. The location is just steps away from all the golf and skiing you could ever want. Beautiful Torch Lake and Traverse City are just a short drive. Connie was great to work with and provided all the information we needed to have a great stay. I would stay there again in a heart beat. You will not be disappointed.

Fabulous "home base" for our summer vacation!

5 of 5
The condo was perfect for our family vacation. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, we were able to spread out and the kids each had their own beds. The kitchen had everything we needed and gave us the chance to save money by making some of our own meals and having supplies in the frig for picnic lunches. We loved the pools, especially the outdoor one which overlooked the lake below...just beautiful! The condo had an outdoor movie one night which was fun. Our favorite condo amenity was by far the beach club. It was awesome! Cute beach with lots beach chairs and a huge shallow swimming area for the kids. There is a playground, sandpit volleyball, basketball, shuffle board and ping pong. Plus gas grills for an easy cookout. Just bring the food, everything else is there. The overall location of the condo was perfect...right in the middle of all the things we wanted to do. Mackinaw City is an hour and a half North. We spend a day on the island riding bikes, exploring the historic sites and visiting fudge shops. We also spent a day visiting the historic sites in Mackinaw City. Sleeping Bear Dunes (an hour and a half East) was a family favorite. We enjoyed climbing the dunes, hiking, swimming at the beach, and the live band at Boondocks in Glen Arbor. We did a day trip to Mission Point Peninsula for wine tasting and beaches. The little town of Bellaire (just 3 miles away) has great restaurants, a big park with a couple of playgrounds and a grocery store. There are lakes all around if you enjoy boating or fishing. Plus the little towns all along the lake Michigan shore and Grand Traverse Bay offer shopping, great restaurants and so much "atmosphere". You really feel like you are on vacation with so much to explore and do. Don't forget to save a few days for just relaxing by the pool or the beach. It is a vacation, after all. Enjoy!

Great family reunion vacation home & spot!

4 of 5
We loved our stay at Intermediate Lake this summer! This home was very well equipped (except for the small bar-b-q which I think they are replacing!) ...from the hot tub, to the lawn play area for kids/adults alike, to the fire pit (firewood provided!) to the pontoon boat (we rented this also--so glad we did!)....the mornings were beautiful on the lake...we would all just sit and talk in the sun room or on the deck (plenty of seating/chairs, too, which is a plus!) --what a view, and so quiet! We rented a ski boat on nearby Torch Lake for one day--that was a blast. The rental agent, Jane, was fabulous and super responsive to all of our questions or needs... Only downside was that several of our family ended up with swimmer's itch--we hadn't heard of it and it is preventable...so please read up on it and come prepared if you have sensitive skin (and don't feed the ducks!)
