My son and I stayed at the cabin as part of a fishing / canoe trip for a few nights. From the onset, the communication Carri offered about the pre-trip logistics (payment, directions, access, etc.) was excellent. Upon arrival, the cabin was spotless and even better than described! We didn't spend a lot of time in the cabin itself due to our planned events, but it certainly felt like home when we were there in the evenings. We didn't enjoy the deck, but did have a small fire in the fire pit before my son expired. The cabin itself was nicely appointed, had satellite television, and a selection of board games that we enjoyed in the evening. We saw a few nice sized turkeys wandering the property entrance as well as some larger vultures standing around.
For our trip, we fished the Muskegon River for steelhead, which was about an hour away, and canoed the Pere Marquette the next day to Bowman's Bridge (about 15 minutes to the Baldwin Canoe launch and about a 4 hour trip on the river). After both our fishing day and canoe day, we visited the DQ in Baldwin to celebrate. In summary - a very well-maintained cabin that was near enough to the things we came to do and a very nice owner to cap off a great experience!
