We really enjoyed the cottages with our family. They we're clean and well appointed. We went with our children and grandchildren and it was perfect. Peg was responsive and answered all our questions quickly and thoroughly. We were pleasantly surprised to find a brand new rail trial within 1/4 mile of the cottage! It goes from Baldwin to Reed city to Midland. We had a great time!

              A Must

              5 of 5
This is a must for the outdoorsman or anyone who wants to just sit and watch the wildlife. Owners were very considerate and accommodating. Everything we needed for an enjoyable stay was provided. Though reading material, satellite television and games were available for indoor entertainment, the location of this cabin drew us outdoors. Mornings we spent drinking our coffee on the deck watching the sun come up. Evenings we enjoyed grilling on the deck and watchin wildlife until the sun went down. While at the cabin, we hired a fishing guide to take us steelhead fishing on the world renown Pere Marquette River. Even if you don't fish a float trip down this river is relaxing and peaceful. There is an abundance of wildlife for the hunter with miles of federal and state land to explore. We saw partridge, turkey, a variety of ducks, geese, a coyote, and a lot of deer! Having rented a number of cabins in Northern Michigan this one ranks at the top for cleanliness, comfort, and guest satisfaction. We recommend you contact Carri before anyone else if you wish to stay in this area. Thank you Carri and Craig for sharing this little corner of heaven with us.

              Great family vacation

              4 of 5
Very private. There are cottages nearby, but nobody around made it wonderful for our kids to fish, swim and play on the beach in private. Cottage is very clean inside with everything we needed, we just brought food and clothes. The patio is gigantic with all kinds of room for the kids to play and family to hang out. The central air plus separate air conditioner in the bunkhouse made our nights very comfortable. Big plus was the firewood included, we didn't have to go get any for our campfires. The teens loved the bunkhouse and could make as much noise as they wanted without disturbing the adults. The fishing was great and the weather made swimming everyday a real relief. See you next year!
