The house was clean and well equipped. We went for a couples getaway but house is well suited for families. There were strollers available and a toddler bed. One room had 2 sets of bunk beds. Listing did show the kitchen was equipped with a dishwasher but none there. Old school dish soap and the sink did the trick. Plenty of space for a larger group. Seemed secluded for being on a lake. There were trees separating from direct neighbors and they were quiet for the most part. Lake was quiet and peaceful too. Utilized the paddle boat. House has plenty of cleaning supplies and laundry room. The open floor plan and large windows to view the lake were wonderful. The deck was nice and had a patio table sized for a family also. Newer stainless steel gas grill available also. Some may say a few of the amenities might be dated but everything worked and we were comfortable and safe. We would return here in the future and would recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway. Whether for a full week or just a weekend. We did our dinners out at local restaurants. Barskis, Government Lake Lodge and Na-Tah-Ka. Na-Tah-Ka was the closest (across from golf course). Barskis was our favorite. All were OK.

Very private. There are cottages nearby, but nobody around made it wonderful for our kids to fish, swim and play on the beach in private. Cottage is very clean inside with everything we needed, we just brought food and clothes. The patio is gigantic with all kinds of room for the kids to play and family to hang out. The central air plus separate air conditioner in the bunkhouse made our nights very comfortable. Big plus was the firewood included, we didn't have to go get any for our campfires. The teens loved the bunkhouse and could make as much noise as they wanted without disturbing the adults. The fishing was great and the weather made swimming everyday a real relief. See you next year!

This is an absolutely beautiful home located about 10 minutes outside of Baldwin (very close to a grocery store). The carpentry, tile work and fixtures are top of the line (luxurious even). The lake and beach are beautiful and are a 30 second walk from the front door. The owner has taken great care of the home and thoughtfully made sure paper products and disposables (dish soap, laundry detergent, etc.) were plentifully supplied. We a had a marvelous stay with friends from TN who cannot wait to come back and revisit. Thanks for a great stay.
