          Beautiful house with amazing views!

          5 of 5
The pictures on the site truly do not do this house justice! We loved the open layout and the amount of space was perfect for our family to relax on the lake. The house is well maintained and the outdoor space is beautiful, it really had everything we possibly needed and our vacation was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks for sharing your home, Tricia! Tifany

Perfect! - Very clean, cozy and quiet.

I stayed here for a week in September and would definitely stay here again. The house is tucked away right on the edge of a lake and is very clean and comfy. The view is spectacular. I especially liked looking up at the stars at night - something you can't really do in the city. Although I didn't use them, boats, kayaks, fishing poles were provided. Fred was great - very knowledgable about the entire state of MI and had lots of great info and suggestions on things to do. The city of Alpena is only a few minutes away so getting groceries is not a problem. The colors were just beginning to change, but I can imagine how spectacular it must look at the peak of the fall season. Great getaway - I highly recomment it!

          A great family vacation!

The Friendship Lodge exceeded our expectation. The lodge was very well maintained and spotlessly clean, with a very well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels. The property had a large beach and also a grass yard. We had a great time and only left the cottage to go grocery shopping. We had plenty of room both inside and outside of the cottage, so we didn't feel like we were always right on top of each other. We had 10 adults and 4 young children. The only downside were all of the rocks as you enter the lake. The kids would have played in the water a lot if it had a sandy bottom, but we still enjoyed an occasional dip. We had a blast and hope to return again.
