Absolutely Gorgeous Home & Fantastic Staff A+++++

5 of 5
I was looking for an exceptional private home in which to celebrate my birthday in late October with dear friends. After a thorough search, I settled on Casa Suenos. It appeared to be beautiful, spacious and everything I was looking for. After speaking with Barbara, the manager, I became convinced that this was the ONLY home that suited my needs. Barbara was very thorough and patiently answered my numerous questions. After the hurricane hit Cabo, I was concerned about the condition of the home and the town as my trip was only a few weeks away. Barbara was able to get me in touch with the home's owner who kept in regular contact with me about how repairs were coming along and even offered to refund my money if I wasn't absolutely satisfied. He was very kind, patient and helpful and he assuaged any concerns I had. When we arrived at the airport, we were met with a driver in a late model Chevrolet Tahoe who helped us with our bags and delivered us to our door. When we first drove into the gated neighborhood, we knew we were in for something special. Exquisite estate homes were all around us. When we drove up to Casa Suenos, my friends and I all sucked in our collective breaths - the home was GORGEOUS! When we walked inside, the palatial, beautifully decorated living spaces welcomed us as did the magnificent view of the sparkling Pacific. We were met by Miguel, the concierge, as well as Alan and Erika, the butler and housekeeper. They were very gracious and welcoming to all of us. (Prior to my arrival, I had sent Alan a list of groceries and things we would need for our stay, and he had everything we needed already stocked in the pantry and refrigerator. Miguel made dinner reservations for us at Edith's and arranged taxis for us. Alan cooked a very fresh, very tasty breakfast for us each day and his wife, Erika, tidied up the bedrooms and kitchen so that we could relax and not have to worry about housework. We spent a long weekend floating in the pool, admiring the extraordinary views and the beauty and tranquility of the house. The owner has spared no expense in furnishing Casa Suenos and every material, every piece of furniture or stone finish, is very tasteful and absolutely first rate. I HIGHLY recommend Casa Suenos for multiple couples, families or a big group of friends. Each bedroom was private, elegantly furnished and had its own en suite bath. I had an extraordinary vacation and cannot wait to return!!

Brilliant vacation for our group

5 of 5
My wife and I recently returned to Hacienda Las Trancas for the third time. Each visit, our groups have rented the entire hacienda for a week, so the experience has been somewhere between a resort and a rental property. I have tried to describe the place and experience to others, but there are no adequate words. For friends who have recently been there with us, there are also no adequate words, but now they understand. We go with people who are like minded – if you're looking for a glitzy 5-star resort with smooth, shiny surfaces, this is not your place. It's 450 years old and full of texture and character. If you prefer authenticity and soul mixed with creativity and care, then it can be as special as you want it to be. It's casual elegance is nice and comfortable – rooms, grounds, food, everything. The staff are real people who you want to take home with you. The somewhat remote location inspires relaxation, but there's also plenty to do – when you include day trips into the must-see cities of Dolores Hidalgo, San Miguel and Guanajuato, the days fly by. Our group of 20 arrived as friends and acquaintances. A week later, we left as family. The hacienda is the kind of place where that can happen. Since returning, we simply laugh and hug one another and try to tell others to trust us.

The most beautiful and fun vacation rental ever!

5 of 5
This beautiful home and location was an absolute delight to stay in. The location was perfect- just steps away from a beautiful beach and fantastic restaurants. The property was clean and we were met by such a friendly and helpful greeter! There were 8 of us- 2 families- and it was totally enough space for all of us! The pool was so refreshing and beautiful- the perfect escape to Mexican heat! The kitchen was well stocked and we made many beautiful meals there. We would recommend this location to anyone!
