Perfecto!

5 of 5
Our week at Playa Loma Bonita was wonderful! We spent the days lounging by the pool, strolling on the beach, doing yoga, eating, reading, playing, fishing, surfing, napping, and hanging out with friends and family! What a beautiful vacation retreat that comfortably slept our 18 people. We had Karina cook dinners for us and we have the home stocked with food upon our arrival which was such a treat!! We walked down the beach to enjoy the lil restaurants on the beach and swim with the locals. We went to Petatlan town to see the shopping and church and the tortillaria! ! We felt like at home with our own watch dog "Monster" who was so sweet! The locals are so friendly and the fishermen loved to show off their daily catch! We brought some school supplies and met a few of the students also. The villas were perfect for spending time together and we even had 18 around the giant dining table in the awesome open-air kitchen! Days by the pool under the umbrella and evenings on the grass under the stars! wow! Everyone had a fantastic time and we will return again next year :)

Amazing Property!

5 of 5
Agave Blue is a true gem. You never really know until you get to a vacation rental if it is going to be as billed but this was everything and more. I had a great feeling because of how attentive Robin, the owner, was in setting up the booking and being available. Went with our family for a week over spring break and it was fantastic. 3 rooms, all clean with their own bathrooms. Infinity pool was great and staff, especially Freddy, was fantastic. The condo even comes with a "local" cellphone so you can make local calls if needed. Kitchen is well equipped, wifi is fast, deck is amazing, condo pool quiet and well maintained. Easy walk to Playa Ropa and all the fun. We also went to Carmelita's in Zihua Centro--unbelievably good. Went off the beaten path to El Tiberon de la costa in Ixtapa--best seafood in a place with amazing seafood (we had a rental car which makes this place easier to get to). This is the place we will come to for our next trip to Zihua!

paradise place

5 of 5
We sadly near the end of 10 glorious days in this cozy cove hideaway. We had intended to look at other properties for future vacations but why? We decided everything we could ever want is right here and the owner and staff could not be more professional and nice to work with. We are 76 and 68, not too athletic, and were concerned about steps...not to worry! The gradual incline is smooth, picturesque and only about 1/2 a city block to the beach. Taxis are about $3 and here NOW. The buses run steps from the condo and a trip down town is about 75c. we took a bus to Ixtapa [$2] to see where we stayed 25 yrs ago. We couldn't get back to Zihua fast enough. It was crawling with tourists, like Miami beach or cancun. Granted it is Easter week but we hardly noticed the difference in Zihua . We ate 1/2 of our meals @ amazing restaurants and the other half in the condo. The fruit, vegies, and breads are fresh and plentiful at both the old market and the modern one. We had the deep, clean pool [down 1 floor] to ourselves. We liked to go while the housekeepers cleaned the apt. Unless we were out on a tour. We wish we could take the condo shower home. It is the BEST. we enjoyed good internet and even though there are a few English TV channels, [CNN] , we rarely watched. We did not turn on the AC . There is always a breeze through the open air doors..The surf and exotic bird calls wake you as the ocean view from bed beckons "get out here". Thank you Susana ,for sharing your piece of paradise with us, We will be back, good Lord willing. favorite rest: La Escollera..opens AT 1pm. bring your suit and take a dip in their infinity pool at the top of the mt. before you eat the best meal EVER. TRATTORIA..great Italian food, ambience.SHort walk down the street to the right. tour...barra de potosi and the ruins
