There can be few places like this on earth

5 of 5
We spent over 3 weeks at Casa en las Rocas and wished we could stay forever. The location, the architecture, the decor, the service... all of them so exceeded our expectations that despite staying in some amazing places all over the world, we unanimously agreed that Casa en las Rocas was the most incredible place we'd ever been. The house was built by an architect who'd also designed a swank hotel in Zihuatanejo, and it showed: the space worked brilliantly and everywhere you put your eye there were really pleasing design details. The pool has the best design I've ever seen, with areas we could sit and my 1 year old son could walk, shallow sections where we would lie semi submerged and my son could play and splash, and an infinity edge overlooking the ocean where waves crashed on the rocks and in the distance we could see whales. The house was pristine and beautifully decorated: contemporary and minimalist but with lots of interesting and quirky details. The photos don't even begin to do it justice. The staff looked after our every need in a very unobtrusive way and they cooked us fabulous authentic Mexican food. They were also just very sweet and friendly (and great with the kids!) and made us feel right at home. I can't say enough good things about Cass en las Rocas. It worked really well with families and little kids, it was super fun with a big group, it was brilliant for a 60th birthday party, it would be an incredible honeymoon destination, it's got plenty of adventures on the doorstep and surfing nearby but is totally private and secluded and you could equally just never leave the estate. It's an extraordinary house. We don't usually go to the same place twice but we will be making an exception.

Highly recommended!!

This place is amazing!!! When I started planning my vacations with my sister and a friend, we were looking for a place where we could have a nice time, relax and enjoy of a few days away from work. Being in Troncones Mexico, but specially in this place, was the best decision we made. We had a great time, and certainly, exceeded our expectations. Casa Luna del Mar has a lot of details that made of our days and nights one of the best vacations we've ever had. This place is perfect to relax and to have a good time with your family and friends. The beach is amazing and watching the turtles trying to get to the ocean, it was a very nice experience. I am really thankful with the staff of Casa Luna del Mar and for sure, we will come back soon!! The rooms, the pool, and the palapa just next to the beach are perfect!! And I really enjoyed cooking with my sister and at the same time having an amazing view to the beach! I am really happy because we found in this place everything we were looking for our vacations!! I am sure you won't regret to choose Casa Luna del Mar as the place to stay in your next vacations.

Tropical Paradise .... I was applauded by my group!

5 of 5
I booked this property for our group, and when I got there 1 hour after they did... I was pleased to get a standing ovation! Kena is the cleaning lady, and she is very accommodating for whatever you need. The pool guy even took one of us lobster fishing one day! Use Gustavo for your car needs or airport shuttles, he is very prompt on returning your emails. The rooms/beds are very comfortable, and we all liked that they are private to not have to hear nightly activities if you don't want to hear them. The stereo was nice in the kitchen room that had speakers out by the pool. If we go again, we would remember to bring more CD's, or an adapter to play our own music. It is also great that there is a supply of cleanser for the fruit and vegetables to be washed in. Not sure if Craig supplied it, or if it was left over from last guests? Sergio cooked us a fabulous meal! We purchased shrimp and Mahi from the locals, and he dug through our fridge and put together e a feast! We paid him $80+tip and paid for our food. We also had fresh abalone, and muscles that the locals dug off the rocks in the surf right in front of us some days. Can't get any fresher! Vendors a few, and far between...but they will find what you want and bring it the next day! I would recommend getting peso's before you go. No banks there, and locals exchange rate is whatever they want it to be at times.....much easier having pesos for all! Thank you Craig, for sharing your place on VRBO...it's people like you that made our friends quit their locked in time-share!! They LOVE staying in new places and exploring different cities in Mexico other than Mazatlan every year after year! We got them to Ixtapa once, and were hooked on our adventures! Your place is wonderful!
