We stayed here for 10 days and overall it was a good experience. On the plus side is the view… expansive! There is solid wifi, good water pressure and hot water for showers. And we really appreciated amenities like Kleenex, soaps, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee and plenty of bottled drinking water. The large glass doors onto the patio were easy to open and close and felt very secure. The washer and dryer are also nice although we didn’t use them. The house is very private and quiet up a steep hill with only one neighbor.
A car or an electric golf cart (48 amps) is necessary to traverse the hill and for going back and forth to town or the beach.
On the negative side; while the master bed was comfortable, the other guest rooms had very uncomfortable beds. The kitchen lacked some essential items including wine glasses, soup/salad bowls, tablecloths and place mats. There was no conversation area indoors, just one futon couch in the TV room. To use CDs you had play them through the TV/DVD player which had weak speakers. Our friend brought their iPod docking station with Bose speakers and we rocked! The pool was cold and shady and off to the side so it was really not an asset.
The casa has an odd, overall setup with a bedroom with twin beds downstairs off the main living area and the master and a queen bedroom quite isolated upstairs. I would think twice if you had a couple of ten year olds or teenagers downstairs in the twin room on their own at night.
The property manager, Ramon, was the best and a great asset to this rental. He was there for us whenever we needed him.
We would also like to recommend having a private chef. We used both Daniel at www.sayulitalife.com/mexotik and Sofia at www.sayulitachef.com. Both were amazing!
Overall, the house was very nice and we had a wonderful stay in beautiful and FUN Sayulita!
