Wonderful week!

5 of 5
Our family of 7 spent a week at Casa Aguila in March 2015. The location is fabulous, right on the beach, away from the town noise but close enough for an easy walk to the restaurants and surf spots. The new keyless locks worked well and we had no worries about hanging onto keys when we went out. We were very conscious of security as the house is located beside a public beach access. We kept all our valuables, phones, etc. locked up in the safes at all times and locked the house even when we were on the beach in front of the house. Just extra cautious and we had no problems. The spacious porch was fabulous for relaxing and enjoying the sight and sound of the surf. Delia made us a lovely dinner one evening which we enjoyed outside. Casa Aguila is a comfortable and clean house with lots of room for a group. It is not fancy or modern but has a classic and welcoming ambiance. A great place in Sayulita! Our family had a wonderful time and we highly recommend this property.

An amazing authentic Mexican getaway

5 of 5
Wow! To say we had an amazing time is such an understatement. This beautiful property had it all.The bedrooms were lovely, the kitchen had all of the appropriate ammenities. The courtyard off the kitchen was a perfect spot for breakfast. In the afternoon to relax by the pool and ponder which fabulous restaurant we were going to walk to was the hardest decision we had to make.Everything was within reach, although we did rent a golf cart as we are two"soon to be seniors" and my Mother. the booking process was smooth and all of our questions were quickly answered. The maid and the pool staff were courteous and efficient. Across the street we found an excellent company that we hired a car to take us to neighbouring towns. All in all we would go back in a heartbeat!

Casa Kestos - paradise for 2 weeks.

5 of 5
Breathtakingly beautiful - that is Casa Kestos. Every morning I awoke to the sound of the surf crashing against the shore and when I took my tea on the patio I simply could not believe we were fortunate enough to be staying in a place of such beauty. We were a group of 8 adults, we stayed for a glorious 2 weeks. We walked into town, some or all of us, daily. We walked the beach in front of us which leads to the village of Sayulita where we surfed, shopped and dined. We also walked the numerous paths behind the villa and went to even quieter beaches and indeed walked all the way to San Pancho through the jungle - take water with you. Not a hike for the faint of heart. The walk into town is faster if you take the short path that leads to the road- Palmar , but the beach walk is lovely. Venezia Pizza is always a hit, and we added Calypso in the square to our list of favourite restaurants. This was our second visit to Sayulita and we explored more streets and shops this time. We kept the donut sellers busy and the churro man as well as other street vendors. All cheap and delicious. We also discovered the beer wholesaler who delivers, just up the street from the book store/library. The local market on Friday was full of fresh foods and crafts and the La Cruz market on the pier on Sunday morning is a must. The casa , bungalow and casita were all lovely. The staff were friendly and the manager was very helpful. The internet was quite reliable for the most part. We did make use of a taxi a few times, especially when we had groceries. Some of us took the local bus in to Bucerias to go to the market and the Mega grocery store. It is cheap and reliable. The bus stop was about a half hour walk from the casa for us- not hustling along! I would return to Casa Kestos in a heartbeat and recommend it heartily.
