Another wonderful stay!

5 of 5
This was our second stay at Molino de Agua this year, in the same condo, and it was fantastic. One of the things I enjoyed the best is the pool area. It is fantastic and it provides a nice break from the beach (and the vendors...LOL). There's a swim up bar with reasonably priced drinks and the food is really good. The condo itself is just fantastic with many great amenities, including beach towels. If you want something different, relaxed and away from an all-inclusive atmosphere; this is the place to be. We tried a couple of new restaurants this time around including Oscar's (on the river next to the building) and No Way Jose (about two blocks east of the condo). Both options were very good. Favorite for traditional Mexican food is Cafe de Olla (just a few blocks away). If you need a great massage, check out the place next to Cafe de Olla and request Henry (he normally works in the afternoon/evenings). It's not your full on spa, but for the price point it is worth it.

Welcome Home!

5 of 5
My partner and I along with two of our very good friends rented this beautiful, spacious condo after a hurricane damaged the place we were supposed to stay at in Cabo. While disappointed we couldn't return to Cabo, we fell in love with this place as soon as we stepped out of the taxi ($10 US from the Airport) and into the elevator that opened directly into the condo. Turn right and the ocean is staring at you from the large living room/patio. To the left and down the hall were two large bedrooms with their own bathrooms and another large patio overlooking the beautiful mountains. Karla (who manages the property for the owners) greeted us, showed us around the condo and then left us to enjoy the property! Not only is it modern, but the pictures are very current! The kitchen was stocked with everything you wanted (including a Margaritaville blender which we loved) and worked perfectly to cook in (with a Soriana grocery literally a 3 minute walk from the building). The 18th floor view to the ocean and pool never failed to put a smile on our faces! There were plenty of towels and a full washer/dryer which came in handy. The amenities include the large pools, hot tubs, a beach/pool bar with a waitstaff who came around regularly and were all friendly (Ivan at the pool and Rengal (think he was in training) at the Concierge were especially nice/friendly). The Concierge would order us taxis which came within 2 minutes (Taxi fare from Icon to Old Town/Romantica Zone was $100 Pesos; $60 Pesos to Marina - both places have awesome restaurant options)! There was a restaurant on site for breakfast and the pool bar served lunch (not the best but sometimes it beat going up to the condo to make your own). The drinks were good (Pina Colada was better than the Margarita) and were $3 or less. If I was to have any suggestion for improvement: Bring a non-stick pan. The cookware was great but without non-stick spray, cooking without food sticking is difficult. Be prepared for: The condo rules don't allow floaties in the pool or having a drink (even in plastic or in cans) near the pool - they will come around and ask you to move back to the chairs if you have a drink too close. Welcome home was a phrase the Security and/or Concierge would use almost every time we arrived back and it was a really nice touch! This place is fantastic and we would definitely recommend it!

Best Birthday Ever- BEST LOCATION!!!

5 of 5
Everything about this condo was amazing! The building and the condo itself is beautiful and exactly as seen in the photos. Neal was wonderful and answered any questions I had, even months before the trip. Carlos and Fernando were helpful and walked us through anything we needed. I can not say enough good things about the staff and security at the building they gave great recommendations and were helpful with our large group! The location was PERFECT! I loved being in walking distance to the best parts of town! We walked everywhere, explored the city, got amazing food, and really only had to us a taxi for excursions and grocery shopping. This location was the best for exploring the old town and Zona Romatica, which to me was the best parts of the city. Being in a Mexican neighborhood close to local schools and churches was the absolute best! I would recommend Ley supermarket, was a great mexican market. We had such a great trip, I would recommend this area and this condo to any one and I can wait to come back!!!
