Of course, since the Grand Luxxe is a 5-Star resort in the purest sense, you can expect all of the attention to detail that such a categorization suggests. The grounds, the staff and service are all top-notch. No doubt about it.
However, I feel that it is the suite itself that made our stay truly luxurious and unique. The layout of the suite is majestically airy and a feeling of well-being and leisure hits as soon as you set foot on the polished marble floors. Immediately, your attention is drawn to the incredibly sweeping views of the ocean, framed by the tops of the towering palm trees that populate the resort grounds. Walking out on to the gigantic deck (which includes a dipping pool and a sizable dining table), you realize that the floor beneath your feet is made of teak! On most days, I found it difficult to peel myself off of one of the lounges situated on the deck. In an over-the-top piece of design continuity, the beautiful rainwater showers in the suite are also furnished with the same teak flooring as the deck! Really, if you don't feel pampered and utterly spoiled staying in this suite, then you must be a member of the royal family. The kitchen is super spacious and incredibly functional with every conceivable appliance and utensil you might need at your disposal. Meals made here are always best enjoyed at the gigantic dining table on the aforementioned deck. Seriously, I'm at a loss to conjure any more superlatives to properly describe the experience we had staying in this amazing suite. You will not be disappointed. A truly luxurious gem.
