A Piece of Heaven on Earth

5 of 5
I celebrated my 50th birthday at Casa Yvonneka. Every review that I had read about Casa Yvonneka met and exceeded my expectations. This place is amazing!!!! We had 14 people in our group and everyone agreed this was by far the best vacation ever. From the minute we walked through the front doors of Casa Yvonneka to the day we left, it was an amazing experience. The villa and staff are FIRST CLASS all the way. Words cannot express the high quality service the staff provided. Malena, the chef is fantastic. Everything she cooked was magnificent (especially her french toast). Felix, thank you for squeezing all the oranges at night so we could have fresh orange juice for breakfast every morning. Fernando, thank you for making all the margaritas, pina coladas and anything else we asked you to make. All of you are truely amazing and made my 50th birthday celebration a dream come true. To Yvonne, the owner....Thank you so much for your calls to make sure our vacation was going well. Casa Yvonneka is truely a piece of heaven on earth. Your staff are the BEST!!!! My family and I will definitely return to Casa Yvonneka. If you are looking for first class accommodations, great customer service and great food, Casa Yvonneka is the place to stay. You won't be disappointed. Thanks Toni May

Simply amazing!

My husband and I stayed there for 8 days with 10 of our closest friends. Booking was easy and secure and the villa’s GM, Cristhian, did a wonderful job explaining everything in great detail. The villa itself is in a great location; about 10 minutes’ drive from downtown PV, Cliffside overlooking the Bay of Banderas. You can spend hours on end just floating in the pool, or watch a move in the theatre, play games in the massive living room, soak in the hot tub in your room (depending on which room you get), From the minute we arrived until the moment our taxi pulled away to leave we were treated like royalty. There was never a shortage of freshly prepared, wonderfully delicious food, margaritas (with freshly squeezed limes daily) and cocktails, friendly faces, laughter and relaxation. Every single guest commented how wonderful the food and service was how relaxed experience left them. We’re already planning our next trip! Hats off to Cristhian, the entire kitchen and wait staff and housekeeping. Simply a wonderful experience that we will cherish for the rest of our lives!

Wonderful, wonderful!

We took our family of 8 adults (72 - 17) and 1 toddler to Casa Macumba for a week. There really aren't enough superlative words to describe how the staff and facilities are the perfect setting for a relaxing vacation. Carmen's food was magnificent and she needs to write a cook book. With a fabulous chef on the premises, there's no need to go elsewhere to eat. (Have her make you mahi mahi; it's the best I've ever eaten.) Fernando, Jovana, Marita and the rest of the staff were all great, as well. The property is immaculately kept and you can eat fresh mangos when they fall off the trees. (I highly recommend the mango margaritas.) The rooms are all comfortable and have excellent air conditioning. The beach is white sand and the water is crystal clear. You might get the impression from its fence that it's unsafe, but, it's not. We didn't even lock our doors at night. It's fairly secluded when compared to other beaches in the area. We made the mistake of having someone other than Casa Macumba arrange our transportation from the airport. BIG MISTAKE Instead, just let Blair (the owner) know the particulars of your arrival and let him arrange it. We used them on the way back and it was half of what we paid to get there. It was much more relaxing and so much better than staying at a hotel where you're just another anonymous client. Casa Macumba makes you feel like family and my family didn't want to leave. Their first question at the airport was... when are we going back?
