                          AMAZING FAMILY HOLIDAY

                          5 of 5
Myself and my husband and daughters aged 16 and 19 found the villa layout to work extremely well and is really spacious. It has a lovely kitchen and is well appointed. The flow from the main bedrooms through to walk in wardrobes and ensuite works really well and added a luxurious touch. The air conditioning units in every bedroom were appreciated for those balmy evenings. The shutters on the windows with mosquito netting meant we didn't have to worry about getting bitten. Taro the owner provided excellent customer service and we were given a cell phone to ring if we needed anything. You will need to provide all of your own groceries but the staff were happy to take us to the supermarket and butchers and market for a fee. The pool was amazing and the staff kept it immaculate each day. We hung at the villa most days and relaxed but had a nice meal at the Vuda point marina also did the sabeto mud bath at the foot of the sleeping giant which is well worth doing. The high ceiling in the living area did give an echo effect but believe this is going to be rectified. We would definitely recommend this luxurious villa as a family or group of friends and have made some close friendships with the people we have met there. Hope to be returning in the near future.

IF YOU'RE COMING TO PACIFIC HARBOUR - STAY HERE!

                          5 of 5
When we arrived at Kul's house - we felt like we were home! So comfortable, so cozy, so lovely! From the beginning contact to Kul - it was easy! We became fast friends because he was so eager to help and happy to accommodate! (and we are STILL friends even 2 months after we have returned home!) Our children absolutely loved swimming in the pool everyday! It was clear and crisp and maintained perfectly! It might seem silly - but I loved being able to cook and wash clothes and iron clothes here! It's so different than staying in a hotel or resort. You get the feel that you actually live in Fiji - if just for a little while! :) Even when it was becoming humid outside, inside the home was cool and inviting! When the mosquitoes were beginning to hover outside - it was always a relief to know that the mosquito screens on the windows kept the house mosquito-free (unless the kids left the door open for a moment too long!) haha But fear not! Kul provided mosquito coils and repellants to use for pesky bugs that got inside too quickly! We even loved the coconuts that fell each day! Our daughter was delighted to try a fresh coconut that had fallen from the tree outside the front door! My husband and daughter (the daredevils) even were brave enough to try a chile growing on the bushes in the back yard! hahaha The flowers and lawn were kept so beautifully - it was lovely and lush and made us feel like we were in the heart of Fiji! The neighborhood is quiet and safe and absolutely beautiful! One night we walked 1 mile through the neighborhood at 10:00 at night. The moon was full, illuminating everything. What a special walk that was! In the day, it is the greenest green as far as the eyes can see with flowers decorating your entire view! The shops and restaurants were just a quick taxi ride away! We didn't have a car while we were there - we utilized the taxis and buses. So much fun! We traveled all over with the buses - at first we were intimidated - but they were just so easy to use! The locals are so sweet and friendly and quick to help you! If you go to the shops - stop by the Oasis restaurant for a snack and get the papadam with chutneys. chunks of roasted garlic and carrots - spicy and delicious!!!!!! And if you head to Navua - make sure you stop at the Hot Bread Kitchen for a cream bun! you won't be sorry! We can't wait to come back to your house, Kul! It is our second home! :) Thank you for everything! Joe, Leah & the kids! :)

                          PERFECT!

                          5 of 5
Perfect pretty much sums up our stay at Heaven’sDoor. If you are a resort kind of person, then this place isn’t for you! We are a bit 'anti-resort' as we love to have the freedom to do our own thing, space to spread out, and to experience a bit of variety when we travel. Think of HDF as going to house-sit a friend's awesome house by the beach! We arrived late at night, in a 2WD and did have some issues with the driveway. Scott does indicate that you need a 4WD, and a quick call to Shanista and Jeral at Coastal Rental cars (also highly recommended) in the morning got us sorted with a 4WD quickly. In 4WD the driveway is no bother at all. The views from the house are amazing – breathtaking 180 degree views over the coral coast. There is a comfortable outdoor space to sit and relax with a drink and a book. Even when it was windy and raining the house is well protected from the elements (follow the instructions and SHUT THE WINDOWS during the storms and you will be fine – no leaking whatsoever!). We travelled with a 2.5 and a 5 year old and they simply loved it. We had our own queen bed with an ensuite and very spacious separate dressing room, and our daughters had a queen bed each in a very large room, separated by an ensuite. There was a large living room upstairs with a TV and DVD selection to keep the kids entertained (there is no TV reception but this was not an issue). When the kids needed their fill of pizzas and pool time, we headed to a resort, but boy it was great to come back to our secluded house with the million dollar view of an afternoon. We went for a few day trips to resorts (Warwick, Hideaway and The Intercontinental - the best!!) as well as the EcoPark, a day trip to Suva, and a few trips to Islands (South Sea Island highly recommended). We shopped in Sigatoka (supermarkets and the fresh food market) as well as once in Suva, and managed to have a good supply to cook many meals ourselves – using the BBQ at HeavensDoor. We also enjoyed dining at the nearby Sunset Strip and also the Wicked Walu at the Warwick. We also had the Fijian Feast prepared (simply delicious) and also had Litia babysit our kids for a night so we could go out. If you are the type of person that prefers self catering and private accommodation, this is the place for you. HDF is a private, secluded piece of paradise with owners who are genuinely interested in their guests. We felt we got to experience a bit more of the ‘real Fiji’ staying here, and will definitely be back!
