PARADISE LOST .... PARADISE FOUND IN THE SOUTH PACIFIC

          5 of 5
You are preaching to the converted for we love Fiji and we love Savusavu in particular. Added bonus it is only 3 hours across the ditch from home in Australia. We have stayed in many rental properties in and around Savusavu but Siga Siga tops them all. We've stayed there by ourselves and also in company with American friends who, being Americans, are very particular in what they expect. The villa at Siga Siga provided everything and more that we, and they, were seeking. Especially important is the friendly and accommandating owner/manager and his staff (same family for 20+ years)to even the most discerning of travellers. Come try and the rental is value for money. We would highly recommend this property.

          HEAVENLY

My husband and I have just returned from a 3 week holiday in Fiji and the first week we had the privelege of staying at Tropic Splendor just outside of Savusavu. The owners, Jeff and Susan, live at the back of the property but the cottage is beachfront. They are both wonderful hosts, very aware of your privacy but also very helpful and kind, making a perfect combination for our first time in Fiji. The cottage is wonderful, very well equipped and has a beautiful private pool. The Fijian caretaker and the 2 housekeepers are delightful people and very informative about the Fijian way of life, showing us how they weave baskets and "live off the land". Jeff and Susan even hosted a dinner for us the first night, a real treat after almost 24 hours of being in transit, and took us out twice in their boat for snorkelling and for a trip up a nearby river. They even took us to a nearby village to watch darling Fijian children dancing...and it was all included. If anyone would like to e-mail me , I would be happy to answer any questions Vinaka to all at Tropic Splendor for a truly wonderful time !
