Clean Suite Well Situated in the Berkshires

5 of 5
This suite had everything we need for a home-away-from-home vacation. We were greeted with a welcome basket and a binder with info on the property and local things to do. We didn't need to buy a thing--except our own groceries--clean pots, pans, utensils, towels, sheets and pillows. The vistas out every window are beautiful and if you happen to love horses, you're in for a treat. The four horses that reside on this property couldn't be more beautiful. The owners were available and helpful without being intrusive. If you're looking for a relaxing spot near Jiminy Peak, Williamstown Theatre and/or Mass MOCA, this is it!

This is a very special place

5 of 5
We absolutely loved our stay here. The house is charming -- decorated in "farmhouse chic" with gorgeous wood floor boards that have to be more than a foot wide. The house is neat as a pin, and the furniture, lamps, and other amenities (including a washing machine that plays tunes when the cycle is complete, a bunch of DVDs, wonderful family games, novels, maps and brochures of the area, and even a cookbook!) make the house feel like home. There is a very nice view of a babbling river out the back windows, and a lovely side yard, equipped with grill and table and chairs. The house is 3 blocks from Williams College, yet is is on a very quiet, laid-back street with trees galore. Check-in and check-out was a snap and the house manager was very nice. As other reviewers noted, the pictures simply don't do the house justice. We will be back, hopefully soon!

Great getaway weekend

5 of 5
We stayed in this charming and very centrally located home with 2 young kids over Columbus Day weekend. The accommodations were everything we hoped for - clean, comfortable without being fancy, and well equipped. The owners were very responsive about a minor issue that arose, even going so far as to call us before we arrived to let us know about the issue, which was expediently taken care of. Easy walking distance to town, the museums, and practically on campus. We will certainly look to stay here again in our future getaways to Williamstown!
