Comfortable and Inviting

5 of 5
Our family of 4, plus my parents, stayed here for a week and enjoyed this home very much. It was very comfortable, relaxed, and inviting. Our kids loved sleeping in the loft and riding their bikes in the street. Since the house is situated at the end of a quiet street, we felt they were very safe. (We had a nice experience renting bikes from Martha's Bike Rentals.) My parents enjoyed their beautiful accommodations above the carriage house. I loved the well-stocked kitchen. It had nice dishware and all the utensils and cooking tools I needed. We felt that the beach was too far to walk, but we liked that we were just a short drive away. We hope to come back again soon.

A fantastic peaceful retreat!

5 of 5
The Moore's camp house is a real charmer. It is a pleasant reminder to slow down, watch the birds and take in the fresh air coming from the Atlantic ocean. Wild blueberries and cool well water are an added bonus! The Moore's camp house is so quiet and private. I love the outdoor shower as well. A great place for couples, families and friends. I highly recommend this camp house! It is hard to leave once you settle into the rhythm and relaxed settings. I look forward to returning every summer! Auna Salomé Santa Barbara, CA

"Just right."

5 of 5
Before arriving, we'd convinced ourselves that our Martha's Vineyard fantasy - to be located near to up-island, at a great biking take-off point, in a clean, well-appointed and affordable place, with a private beach, and a walk-to, swimmable, beautiful pond was not achievable. But this is exactly what we found. The apartment is very clean, thoughtfully stocked, with a wonderful bed, and Alice, who is earnest in her commitment to support the best visit possible. Foodies take note: plan for a one-burner stove top, an ample convection/toaster oven, coffee maker, microwave and a grill. We enjoyed getting creative with that configuration. We biked the island, walked to Lambert's Cove Beach and to the freshwater pond. I've stayed at many 2-person apartments at the Vineyard and this was by far the best.
