GREAT LOCATION, QUIET AREA, COMFORTABLE STAY

5 of 5
We stayed at Erica's house for a wonderful week with parents, in laws and a dog. Everybody absolutely loved their stay! It's conveniently located with short driving distance to Wellfleet harbor, art galleries, restaurants(PJ's, Moby Dicks, Macs seafood), Marconi beach and Great island attractions. The house is brand new, super clean and the thoughtful arrangements/equipments made it feel like home. Communication with Erica has been super effective as well. Thanks for sharing this lovely home and we look forward to coming back again soon!

THE OYSTER HOUSE WAS A GREAT PLACE FOR US TO STAY

5 of 5
We had a great vacation, the house is just right. The location is walking distance to beach and town. We really enjoyed the front deck and back patio, and grill. The house is comfortable and has everything we needed.

I GREW UP HERE!

5 of 5
I grew up in this house! My family owned it for nearly two decades. My mom was the "inn keeper" for all those years, and we all worked as "chamber maids" in the summers under her stern tutelage. Our family lived in the house but rented the cottages and the "turret suite" weekly, or for a few nights at a time. My dad did all the landscaping and hauled in rocks and trees etc.. from upstate NY, where we also lived for part of the year. We inherited a lot of the original antique furniture when we bought the house in the 70's, and kept it all in the house until we sold it in the 90's. The original dark woodwork has been painted over, which appears to have brightened up the interior of the house, so it looks quite different and less Victorianized. I only have wonderful memories of this lovely place, including the benevolent spirit of Capt John, who hung about the house and made himself known on occasion.. The folks who bought the Moorings from us got to know him as well! I hope he's still around keeping an eye on things :) Enjoy your stay. I highly recommend it! (my above dates of stay are inaccurate..)
