Perfect retreat

5 of 5
This is a quiet, spacious, perfect retreat for any family! The property is an easy walk to a beautiful bay beach where you can walk for miles and a bike ride or quick trip in the car to the stunning ocean beaches of Truro. The house is beautiful with a large multi-level side deck for grilling, sun-bathing, or reading - with an outdoor shower and hot-tub for the end of a perfect day. The kitchen (granite countertops and stainless steel appliances) is open and fully equipped. We could cook and visit at the same time which is a favorite for our family. The entire house is clean and comfortable with an eye toward making guests feel at home. Down comforters, plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, etc. A definite bonus is the rec room on the lower floor where ping-pong tournaments were ongoing. We had an amazing time and loved how close we were to Provincetown yet could be in this beautiful, perfect retreat.

A gem of a house and an awesome location!

5 of 5
We were looking for an old fashioned Cape experience and found this house. The house was so cute and the views! I could see the Pamet marshes from almost every window! The house is literally a 5 minute walk to the Pamet harbor. We walked there every day and kayaked. What a beautiful place! We watched many sunsets from the pier...I didn't want to leave this place. Being a history buff, I thought it was cool to see the Pamet Harbor Yatch Club right there. The house was clean and cozy and just charming. The location was perfect for us, close to Wellfleet and Provincetown and many local beaches. Fisher beach was our fav. I would recommend this house to my friends and family. The property manager was amazing and very responsive. Thank you so much for making our stay memorable.

Lovely From Sunset to Sundown

5 of 5
I have been to the cottage 3 times and my last adventure was in June of 2014. As you enter Truro, off of Highway 6 , the smell of pines and the return to nature leads you up the hill to the car park and then their is a brief walk to the top of the dune. The cottages are on the dune and when one leaves the cottage you are in the sand, and surrounded by indigenous grasses, flowering bushes and a vista of the bay which magazines have used for their summer New England issues. The cottage is quaint and authentically maintained with Betsy's beautiful artistic touches throughout particularly in the well equipped kitchen where one can eat from one of a kind pottery pieces. These pieces make the preparing of and eating of meals celebratory. I loved to meet the morning on her porch with my coffee and then walk the stairs down to the bay beach and walk for hours toward Provincetown. There were mornings where I alone enjoyed the beach and then times where a few fellow walkers and their dogs would smile on by. Corn Hill was a warm and friendly place yet also people were very respectful of people's privacy. This cottage is a very special place because it has a sophisticated yet rustic atmosphere which comes from it's well thought out simple interior and it's position with simply the most beautiful sunsets in Cape Cod. Should you decide to leave the cottage or the beach - The Black Fish restaurant is a super place for fine dining in jeans and flip flops or a hamburger at the bar. Don't miss the French bakery and the new coffee house with artisan pour over coffee and hand made chocolate.
