I enjoyed an excellent stay at the Stuffed Clam with my two children (7 and 4 at the time). The cottage is charming, immaculately kept, bright and airy, and tastefully decorated with modern furnishings and local accents. The kids especially loved the bunk beds. The kitchen was well stocked and more than met our cooking needs. The espresso machine got a lot of use.
While not relaxing in the cottage we spent most of our time at Great Hollow Beach, a gorgeous, pristine beach that's not overly crowded -- but popular enough for an ice cream truck to show up. We even returned once during low tide and searched for crabs and other creatures in the tide pools. PB Boulangerie in Wellfleet is definitely worth a visit; everything there was delicious. We also enjoyed meals at Arnold's as well as Savory.
The kids were sad to leave so soon but we'll definitely come back in the future. It's really a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway.
