This is no ordinary rental

Location, Location, Location - you cannot get much closer to town without renting in town. We were a party of 9 (ages 5 - 50) and a good time was had by all. The "compound" is ideal for multiple parties and/or generations with the converted boathouse providing an additional contained living space. The living space in both the main house and the boathouse provide plenty of room; bedrooms and baths, the kitchens are well stocked, the decor is eclectic and the living spaces are comfortable and accommodate a large group Oh and don't forget the bay is right out back!

Like staying with family!

5 of 5
This cottage is all that is advertised, and so much more! The owner was a pleasure to deal with, and even phoned on the first night to welcome us to the cottage. Every detail is thought out carefully in this home, from fans positioned near every bed, to reading lights over every chair, and charming household touches, (often featuring quail)! The location indeed faces a fresh water marsh, where we sighted the local fox and many birds. It is a four minute walk to a wonderful bay beach, nearly deserted even on Labor Day. Truro is breathtaking, don't miss the Farmers' Market which features tiny household farms, and many houses actually sell produce right in front of their homes. We felt like we were staying at our charming Aunt's house, who had readied the cottage for our arrival, and sincerely wanted us to have a great time. Of course, my only hesitation in writing this is that there is no room for us next year!

Relax and enjoy!

What another great year! The weather and sunsets were amazing! Love the new additions to the cottage. Had a blast driving onto Race Point Light, saw lots of whales. We also found lots of starfish on the beach at the cottage. Ended the vacation cooking lobsters and watching the most beautiful sunset on the cape! Thank you Naomi and Diane for sharing this with us.
