True "Home Away" from home!!

5 of 5
My husband and I stayed at the cottage for a week in July 2013. We had such a relaxing and wonderful time that upon departing we asked if we could come again in 2014. For us the cottage is an oasis away from the hectic pace of everyday life. The pictures on the site are exactly what the cottage is like. There are deer, rabbits, and birds on the property which is beautifully maintained by Valerie, the owner of this special place. Although the cottage is not "modern" it is not lacking for any of our needs. It is great to have the options of grilling out back, making breakfast in the kitchen, and sitting out on the deck to have a cocktail and bite to eat before heading into town for dinner. The outside shower is fabulous after coming home from the beach! I would recommend this property to close friends and relatives, but not to too many people because I want to be able to visit every year!! The only negative to staying at the cottage is having to leave at the end of the week.

This cottage is delightful.

My husband and I brought our dogs and all of us had an amazing stay in this sweet and well designed cottage. The cottage is convenient to the Moors which is our favorite place for long hikes with the dogs. Tom Nevers Beach is also close by. We enjoyed sitting on the private deck, watching the birds come to the birdbath and feeder, cooking simple meals on the grill, watching a meteor shower, and relaxing under the large umbrella. The property is clean and well-maintained, Ron and Lauren could not have been more helpful, and I would highly recommend this place to a friend fortunate enough to be able to travel to the magical island of Nantucket. I only hope I am able to return someday.

Lovely Cottage – we had a perfect Nantucket getawa

5 of 5
My Wife and I booked a last minute vacation to Nantucket and were very fortunate to find an opening here. The owners, Christine and Bob are wonderful hosts and live close by if you need anything. The beach towels, coolers, chairs and an umbrella were like new and came in handy for our long days at the beach. They were also generous in giving us some veggies from their fabulous garden. The Cottage was a short bike ride to Tom Nevers Beach where we spent many mornings surfcasting. The covered shuttle stop is also a short bike ride away where you can catch the “Wave” into town or any of the fabulous beaches. We were unable to get a car on the Island and hardly missed it. The Cottage itself is spotless – we fell in love with the tranquility and especially the outdoor shower. We cooked and ate dinner at the cottage on many nights during our stay and the kitchen had everything we could think of. We also spent a many nights in the comfy Adirondack chairs in the yard looking at the beautiful night sky. You won’t believe all the stars! Great place – can’t wait to go back!
