Perfect 10

5 of 5
Great House!! Great Location!! Great yard! Great owners! Great kitchen! This is a perfect 10. Lots of thought put into the architecture and decore. Even if the weather is crummy, it is a cozy place to relax and read. The owners thought of everything...even signs for where the first aid kit is located. Think about renting their jeep that has all the permits you need and a portable tire inflator....well maintained, clean, great fun to drive. I would dfinitely stay here again if this wasn't a 2200 mile trip to return.

GREAT RENTAL NEAR THE BEACH!

5 of 5
My wife and I have rented on Nantucket for years, but the place we had been renting went up for sale, so we needed to look for a new one. We found Luck's cottage near Surfside Beach and it was perfect for us and our greyhound. It sleeps 7, but was also good for just a couple with dogs as well. We had plenty of room and were very close to the beach so that we could enjoy the glorious September weather on Nantucket. The backyard is huge and the dog definitely enjoyed running around there. Luck was gracious and accommodating and brought us a new coffee maker right away when the one in the rental broke. We can't say enough good things about the place and have already secured our spot with Luck for next year.

Nantucket's best kept secret

5 of 5
Nantucket is a very special place and this is a wonderful, clean home. We could not have been happier with our choice of lodging on the Grey Lady. Location, location, location...so close to the beach (12 min. walk to Surfside - via a flat, paved bike path). We walked into town via the bike path & it took less than 1/2 hour - really easy (there's even a water fountain on the bike path) and the exercise wasn't bad for us either. Two large & lovely bedrooms, each with window & skylight that are great for the summer breezes. The downstairs was is comfy and spacious. Loved the fireplace, the wall of french doors and oh yea, if you so desire, central air & heat. The kitchen is large, open and has plenty of counter space. We enjoyed breakfast on the patio and afternoon tea on the back porch. There is a wonderful collection of artwork throughout this house, which only added to the warm feel of the home. In short, we loved the house, loved the location & look forward to returning.
